Laborer - Apartment Maintenance

The Anjou Club in Talent, operated by Western Heritage Property Management, is seeking a summer laborer.

This position is temporary, but for the right person, could lead to further opportunity and a permanent position within our company.

The primary duty to begin the Summer is a thorough pressure washing of our grounds and exterior structures, but other duties are as assigned.

Essential duties for this position:

*Pressure washing exterior structures, curbs, and walkways

*Grounds maintenance, such as weeding, planting, spraying, trash clean up, irrigation adjustment and repair, curb painting

*Periodically assist in apartment unit turnover during our busy summer season

*Various paint projects

*Perform other duties as assigned or as deemed appropriate to meet goals and objectives established for the property.

* Regularly stand, walk, bend, turn and twist.

* Use various ladder heights safely with two hands.

* Steadily tread up and down stairs.

* Reach with both hands and arms above your head.

* Communicate clearly, politely, and timely with team members, office staff and maintenance supervisor.

* Capable to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds on a regular basis with team and/or independently.

* Safely use power tools, chemicals, paints, and other related worksite hazards.

* Comply with and ensure all Western heritage policies and procedures (In SOP and Handbook).

* Stay organized and maintain all deadlines.

* Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

* The employee must possess the mobility to work in a standard maintenance setting and to use standard tools, including hand tools, chemicals and general maintenance equipment.

* Work in a setting where noise levels may be high.

The ideal candidate for this position has handyman experience, an ability to work independently or as part of a team, an ability to effectively communicate, and provide exceptional customer service as a representative of the Anjou Club.
